The four islands of the Balearics, can be reached by air from many parts of Europe and by inter-island ferry and by ferries from various points on the Spanish mainland. Formentera and Menorca offer a quieter more relaxed style of life and holiday, whereas Majorca and Ibiza are much busier and livelier. All the islands offer lovely beaches and coves and inland villages which are still relatively unspoilt.
